Her Campus: What made you choose Elementary Education as you Major?
Maya Smith: When I was eight years old I volunteered at my little brothers Kindergarten class and I fell in love! His teacher came up to me at the end of the day and told me I should consider teaching so ever since it has been my dream.
HC: What was the best class you ever had?
MS: I really liked my Reading Diagnostics class because I got to do a case study tutor a little boy. One day he asked me, “When I am 102 will I be old enough to go to college with you?” it was so cute!!
HC: Who is your favorite professor?
MS: Professor Hudon because he taught me never to take anything at face value.
HC: What is your favorite Bloomsburg memory?
MS: The night I got my bid to Pixies. My bids night was the most fun night of my life!
