As Columbia County residents, we know how beautiful our fall foliage is when we’re surrounded by mountains on campus! And it turns out, the rest of the world knows it too because the perfect tree for the New York City landmark has been found in Danville, according to PennLive.com
The 85-foot-tall Norway spruce was located at the home of Dan Sigafoos and Rachel Drosdick-Sigafoos.

The tree will be cut down at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, then hoisted via crane onto a flatbed truck and driven the three-hour trip to downtown Manhattan. The 82nd Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 3 with live performances from 7 to 9 p.m. in Rockefeller Plaza. The tree will remain lit and can be viewed until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015.
We can’t wait to see the transformed into one of the most beautiful holiday sights of the season!Â
