The National Broadway Tour “American Idiot,” adapted from Green Day’s multi-platinum album, will be performed at BU’s Mitrani Hall on Friday, March 7 at 8 p.m.

The highly reviewed musical revolves around the life of three life-long friends: one who will fight for his dreams, one who will fight for his country, and one who will stay behind in the safety of suburbia.

Audience members can look forward to hearing their punk-rock favorites from the Grammy award winning album “American Idiot” as well as other assorted songs like “When It’s Time.”

The album “American Idiot” sold over 12 million copies since its release in 2004.
