Her Campus: What kind of activities are you involved in on campus?Adrianna Sgouris: BuNow, NBS, and I also teach a class at the Rec Center.
HC: What is your favorite part about being involved in BUNow? AS: My favorite part about BuNow is using my creativity to come up with unique story ideas for the writers to choose from each week.
HC: What are some of your hobbies?AS: Writing, reading magazines and books, exercising, and baking.
HC: What made you decide to teach a jump roping aerobics class at the student rec center?AS: I’ve always loved to jump rope and when I heard that the former instructor was graduating I immediately contacted the Rec Center to take over her class.
HC: Do you enjoy teaching the class? Why?AS: I love teaching the class because I enjoy creating challenging workouts and fun playlists that people enjoy.
HC: Although graduation is still a ways down the road, do you have any tentative post grad plans? Any internships or field-related work lined up?AS: I don’t necessarily have any post graduation plans yet, but this summer I’m doing an internship with the West Essex YMCA.
HC: What’s your dream job?AS: I don’t have a specific dream job, but I would love to work for Cosmopolitan or Glamour magazine… Or I would like to do something fitness related.
HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years, professionally and personally?AS: In ten years I want to be living in New York City working at a job that I love. In my personal life I want to travel as much as possible, have a family, and get a puppy.
