Fall/Winter Album Releases

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Binghamton chapter.

There’s nothing quite like a good new album to keep your spirits high on low-temperature days. This fall/winter season has seen some pretty big album releases and the Her Campus Binghamton team is excited about a lot of them. Here are a few of the album releases from this season that we’re listening to while curled up with a hot latte or getting pumped to en route to a ugly sweater party.

1. Purpose (Deluxe)- Justin Bieber

Biebz gave us a great preview of what to expect for this album when he released songs like “What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry” a few weeks before the album came out. This album is combines classic JBiebs with a mature and fresh edge and has a great mix of ballads and dance songs. We’re so happy to officially say that the biebz is back!!

2. Revival (Deluxe)- Selena Gomez

I don’t know about you, but I was so excited when Selena Gomez was featured on songs like “I Want You To Know” with Zedd or “Good For You” with A$AP Rocky. I used to be a huge fan of Selena’s music in high school and songs off this album like the single, “Same Old Love,” combine the classic Selena style with a more mature edge and big girl lyrics.

3. Made In The A.M. (Deluxe Edition)- One Direction

If you’re reading this, I’m sure you’ve found yourself in the past couple months, bopping more than once to 1D’s hit single, “Drag Me Down” since it’s surprise release this past summer. After Zayn left the band in March, everyone was quick to wonder if the guys could continue making music as a four-piece that was just as good as their past four albums, but Made In The A.M. has most certainly shown off that they could do it and more.

4. Delirium (Deluxe)- Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is killing the music game right now. Her most recent single off the album is titled “On My Mind,” and if you haven’t heard it yet, you must! It’s catchy, fun, and you’ll most certainly want to turn it up on your walk to class, your car ride home, or just hanging out. I’m excited to see what else Goulding continues to achieve musically because she just continues to come out with amazing hits.
