It’s almost winter break! You know what that means, you go home, see your family, hang out with your friends and best of all: you FINALLY get to do some real shopping! Winter is all about boots. To quote the infamous words of Kesha “There’s something ’bout boots and boys. They bring me so much joy.” So make the most of your break and take advantage of the sales and get yourself a pair of these beauties (and also a pair of cuties, because why not?).

Steve Madden Combat Boots

These babies are essential! It’s like the first rule of feminism, each girl must own at least one cute pair of combat boots! And yes, it’s ok to wear them everyday because they go with absolutely everything!

Sorel Snow Boots

These might be even more important to have than combat boots (*gasp!) especially for Bing! If you haven’t noticed yet, it snows here. A LOT. My love to Sorel cannot be expressed in words. They make the comfiest and most adorable snow boots. I mean just look at that fur!

Frye Tall Boots

Frye makes such cute and really really sturdy boots. They can literally take anything and come out looking like a champ, and it’s worth it to spend a little bit more so that they don’t fall apart after just one season, that’s like the saddest thing to ever happen. Just remember if your going to wear them in the snow or rain don’t forget to waterproof them first! It’s so worth it, so if your already out and about and caught in the rain they won’t get ruined. You can buy leather water proofer at almost any supermarket.

Chestnut Tall Uggs

Ohhhhh Uggs. Will you ever go out of style? I hope not! These are oldies but goodies. They are so comfy and go perfectly with that “I just slept in the library studying for my finals look”. You can wear them either all the way up but I like them rolled down so the fur shows. If you haven’t noticed by now I really enjoy fur accents on winter accessories.

Dolce Vita Booties

These are for those brave souls who have it in them to venture downtown in the freezing cold. While your braving the cold you might as well look hot! (see what I did there?). These boots are adorable and go perfectly with a black pair of jeans for that “I’m trying not to get frostbite look”, but not to worry those of you who still rock a bodycon dress while it’s snowing, they look great with dresses and skirts as well!
