Humans of New York Taught me Everything I Need to Know

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Berry chapter.

Observing others is said to be one of the best ways to learn. The things that Humans of New York has taught me over the years don’t necessarily qualify as new information, but they are still examples of real people in real situations. Sometimes that’s all the reminder you need for a message to really sink in.

1. Expect and accept more adventure. 2. Love is the strangest, most exhilarating entity you will ever come across.

3. Sometimes life gives you lemons that are far too sour.

4. It’s hard to be with the same person for too long…

5. But it’s worth it in the long run.

6. Always be grateful for your education.

7. Perhaps watching Grey’s Anatomy is not how you become a surgeon.

8. It’s okay to be proud of what you’ve done with your life.

9. Some people like hugs, some people do not.
