“I don’t want Netflix, I need Netflix” says Mike, Bentley sophomore and Netflix enthusiast. When asked what his current Netflix obsession is he doesn’t have to think long to know the answer is House of Cards. The political drama follows Francis Underwood, a congressman from South Carolina, in his quest to get revenge on people who betrayed him in his political career.
“I like the plot twists and the fact that the whole thing is a giant conspiracy” says Mike, and he isn’t the only one impressed by the show. House of Cards took home 3 awards at the 2013 Emmys: Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series, Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series and Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.
