Essentials: besides the obvious laptop, pens, pencils and notebooks…
1. Chargers – always carry around an extra phone charger and laptop charger, that way you’re not that person who has to ask a stranger for a quick charge in the library.
2. Ethernet cable – for those day (that happen quite often) where air falcon is on the fritz and the only way you can submit that assignment on time is to plug in the old fashioned way.
3. Emergency items – it wouldn’t hurt to carry a bag of cough drops with you, a bandaid (unexpected paper cut), a few feminine products, maybe some earplugs (for that surprise pop quiz in the class with the kid who won’t stop coughing), and granola bar (when you have three classes in a row with no time for lunch).
4. Headphones – you’ll be dying in the library without them,
5. Stapler – you’d be surprised how many professors won’t accept your work unless it’s stapled, so have a mini one in your backpack!
If you have room…
6. ShamWow – Bentley students regret the days they forget their ShamWow in their dorm room and they have nothing to absorb their sweat after walking up to class. It also doubles as a cloth to dry your tears after your GB midterm.
7. Sunglasses – when you need to quickly disguise yourself from thirsty Thursday’s hookup. Who you have never seen before but now see EVERYWHERE.
8. Imodium – if you don’t know what this is, do a quick google search. You may want to have this on you after a seasons (excuse me The 921) dinner. You can get it at the falcon mart.
9. Suit and tie – you never know when you’re going to have to do a quick wardrobe change to go to a last minute networking event! Just make sure you leave it on the floor tonight JT style.
10. Gas mask – for when you’re trying to cross the upper quad when all the smokers meet up between classes.
