Have you ever been in Boston and had some time to kill? Boston is a great city and I think some of us may forget that after having lived in the area for so long. It’s an awesome place with plenty of fun things to do!
If you ever have some free time, here are some places to try out:
Newbury Street
Take a trip down Newbury Street…it’s a nice walk and who doesn’t love shopping around in fun stores? Take a quick stop in some of our personal favorites, Zara and Urban Outfitters! Walking up and down the street is really pretty and the buildings are gorgeous. Grab a frozen yogurt from Pinkberry and just admire the scenery for a bit.

The Charles River
Will you be around the Charles River? If so, definitely don’t miss out on your chance to take a walk, go for a run, or take a bike ride along this beautiful river in Boston. It is one of the prettiest spots in the city…and I feel like a lot of people take it for granted. Personally, I think that a bike ride looks like a lot of fun; it’s one of the many things on my Boston bucket list!

Mike’s Pastry
If you find yourself in the North End of Boston, you’d be crazy to miss out on this amazing Italian pastry shop. There are more than fifteen flavors of cannolis (including Chocolate Mousse, Peanut Butter, and Oreo, just to name a few) at a cheap price of $3.50 a piece, so don’t miss out!! If you have the time to wait in line (which sometimes goes out the door!) then you surely won’t regret it!

New England Aquarium
This is one of my personal favorite places in Boston; I mean who can’t resist penguins and seals? At the aquarium they have a large variety of fish and even an area where you can pet small sharks and stingrays! In addition to the aquarium, next door is an IMAX theatre where you can watch movies all about the ocean and the animals who call it home – definitely a great way to end your trip! Also, the student discount is a big bonus—just be sure to order your tickets from the library in advance!
