One of the hardest questions I get asked around this time of year is always “What do you want for Christmas?” Coming up with a wishlist has always been so hard for me and I know it’s hard for so many others as well. That’s why I’ve made a list of things I would ask for for Christmas if I didn’t already own them.
Phone Wallet
As a college student I’ve found that I always have to carry a bunch of cards on me – my ID, my license, credit card, etc. Most of the time I don’t want to walk around with a wallet, especially if I’m just going to the dining hall. That’s why I love my phone wallet. I bring my phone with me everywhere so being able to just have my cards with my phone makes it so much easier. I especially love a magnetic phone wallet that you can take on and off whenever you want.
Coffee Machine
As a coffee lover, I don’t think I could live without my coffee machine. They can be expensive so asking for one for Christmas is the perfect move. I personally think a Nespresso or a Keurig is perfect for college.
Perfume
Perfume is another thing that can be expensive, but makes the best Christmas gift. Go to Sephora or Ulta to try on perfumes and find one you love. Some of my personal favorites are Sol De Janeiro 62, Donna Karen Cashmere Mist, and Karl Lagerfeld 21 Rue Saint-Guillaume.
Water Bottle
I know for myself nothing motivates me more than having a cute water bottle. I love both my Stanley and Owala – they never fail to keep me hydrated.
Jewelry
Jewelry is always a go to ask for Christmas. A new necklaces or a fun earring makes the perfect gift, because you can never have enough jewelry.
Makeup
Makeup can tend to be expensive, so getting it for Christmas is always nice. Stores also tend to have a lot of amazing gift sets during this time of year which gives you a chance to try a bunch of new products all at once. You can ask for refills, or can use the opportunity to try new products!
Slippers
I love to lounge around in slippers – my personal favorite are my Uggs.
Gift Cards
As a college student, gift cards are always an amazing gift. Ask for a gift card to your favorite restaurant, coffee shop, or your favorite clothing store.
Bags
I love having a cute bag to go out with. I personally feel you can never have enough bags and different bags are great for different occasions. You could ask for a bigger tote bag to take to class or a smaller bag that you can take when you go out.
New Clothes
Clothes are always something great to ask for for Christmas, as they’re always something I want. You could even go Black Friday shopping at your favorite stores, get the sales, and then have that be a part of your Christmas gift.
Making a Christmas list or even figuring out what to get others is so hard so I hope this list is helpful and gives you some ideas for the holiday season.
