Living in a suite on campus can be hard, especially when you have to rely solely on the dining hall for all of your meals. That’s why coming up with easy to make recipes in your dorm room can be beneficial, especially when you need a break from Seasons. Here is a quick and easy vegetarian taco recipe that will hopefully make the list of dinners to try in your dorm!

What you need:

Soft tortilla shells

Lettuce

1 tomato

1 bag of shredded cheese

1 can of black beans

Microwave

All you have to do is go to Market Basket, Hannaford’s, or another local grocery store and buy the things on this list for less than $15! These ingredients will also last you at least 2 or 3 dinners, if not more.

1. Take out a soft tortilla shell and place it on a plate or paper towel.

2. Wash the lettuce and tomato and cut off the amount of lettuce and tomato you will use for one serving.

3. Put the rest of the lettuce back into the bag and put in your refrigerator.

4. Place the tomato in either a Ziploc bag or in a small container and place it in your refrigerator.

5. Open the can of beans, and pour the amount of beans you would like directly onto the shell.

6. Put the rest of the beans into a reusable container and place in your refrigerator.

7. Place the plate into our microwave and add shredded cheese if you would like.

8. Microwave for 1 minute.

9. Take plate out of microwave and add the lettuce and tomatoes to your taco.

10. Fold up your taco and you are good to go!
