Stephanie’s Pinterest Picks of the Week: Halloween Edition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Happy Monday, collegiettes! This week I wanted to share my favorite Halloween Pins. Do you have a favorite site to visit for Halloween ideas? Let me know in the comment section below.

How cute are these candy corn nails from My Nail Graffiti? Blogger Amber shares step by step instructions on how to make your nails into sparkly candy corns, just in time for the holiday. If you are looking for a Halloween-esque nail design, but don’t have time for candy corn Nails, Amber has great pairings of fall colors with glitter top coats. My favorite is her black polish with gold shimmer top coat!

I was so excited to find this Pin from Lilyshop blogging a recipe for Homemade Caramel Apple Pops! I remember always eating this candy when I visited my Grandmother because they are her favorite, but I could never find them in the stores. Now, I can make my own and have them whenever I am in the mood for a caramel apple. I have seen Pins blogging about making Jolly Rancher lollypops, but I never thought to try them until now!

This Pin could be dangerous for all you candy corn lovers! Project Alicia blogged about her favorite candy corn recipes. How good does her snack mix look? She also features pudding layered in candy corn colors and white chocolate candy corn bark. These recipes are perfect for the holiday and will make a great addition to any Halloween bash!

Home is Where the Boat Is shows us that s’mores are not just for summer nights with their Ghostly Brownie S’mores recipe. I love the use of peeps in these s’mores to keep the Halloween theme going with all the holiday treats. Home is Where the Boat Is also experimented with different presentations of their Ghostly S’mores- the individual jars are adorable!

Hey collegiettes, did you know that Halloween is the third biggest party day of the year behind New Year’s Eve and Superbowl Sunday? Daily Infographic brings us this fact and many others with their Halloween infographic. You can learn everything from the millions of dollars in costume sales to how Halloween traditions differ in each country— jack o’ lanterns originated in Ireland and they were made with turnips, not pumpkins!

I am a Bentley University senior majoring in Marketing with a LSM in Media, Arts and Society. I make gluten-free goodies all too frequently and my favorite place in the world is the top of a mountain with my skiis on. I have an addiction to chocolate, Alice in Wonderland and laughing with my roommates.
