Stephanie’s Pinterest Picks of the Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Happy Monday! This week is all about fun and quirky Pinterest finds. Let me know what you think, collegiettes!

This is absolutely my new favorite Tumblr account and warranted some strange looks as I was laughing to myself reading page after page in the library last week. Daily Odd Compliments is a gathering of hilariously awkward, adorable, and true statements that anyone would appreciate hearing. I am constantly sending them to my friends and posting them on their walls. Which compliment is your favorite, collegiettes?

Dunkaroo Dip–two little words that can make anyone feel like they are in elementary school again. Although I haven’t seen the blue-packaged munchies in the store for quite some time, I don’t need to worry. Kelley from Eat Yourself Skinny shared her recipe for Dunkaroo Dip. This recipe originally came from Little Bitty Bakes and has been shared over and over on Pinterest. This recipe only has 3 ingredients: Funfetti cake mix, Cool Whip and Greek yogurt and with only 105 calories per serving, you can indulge your inner 4th grader without the guilt!

Well, here it goes. I, Stephanie, am a total and complete geek when it comes to anything involving crayons. Needless to say, I was awestruck when I found these chemistry crayons. The Queinteresante Chemistry Crayons Set of 96 labels is available on Etsy for $12. And although I am a geek, I am still a Marketing major and not a chemist, so I am glad the set comes with instructions about which label to use and a chemistry lesson for the colors! Not a crayon person? No worries, they have colored pencils too!

As a lover a country music and hilarious lip-dubs to songs, I fell in love with this baseball team’s cover of Florida Georgia Line’s hit song “Cruise”. Apparently this team became a little restless during their 5 hour car ride to a tournament and decided to challenge Harvard Baseball’s video to “Call Me Maybe”. Which video do you like better, collegiettes?

BuzzFeed is back in my Pinterest Picks this week with 35 Things You Will Never See Again In Your Life. This list has everything from a Blockbuster VHS to 3D Doritos to Mr. Feeny’s advice (unless you can catch the reruns!). However, I did find one item on this list that you can still find in stores—Mr. Sketch markers! Which item from the past will you miss the most?

I am a Bentley University senior majoring in Marketing with a LSM in Media, Arts and Society. I make gluten-free goodies all too frequently and my favorite place in the world is the top of a mountain with my skiis on. I have an addiction to chocolate, Alice in Wonderland and laughing with my roommates.
