Have you ever been interested in any of the DIY projects you see on sites like Pinterest, but weren’t sure what to do or where to start? Well, this spring is a perfect time to get started. These are a few of my favorite spring time DIY’s that are simple, fun, and perfect to do in a dorm room!
It’s that time of year when the sun starts to come out, but most of us have that lasting pale skin from the harsh New England weather. If you’re like me and like to do some self-tanning in the spring before the time comes to tan out on the Greenspace, this face scrub will come in handy. You use it before you put on your self-tanner to exfoliate the skin, which helps to avoid any streaks or an uneven tan; not cute! As a bonus, after, your face will feel silky and smooth. As we near the end of the semester and get closer to that dreaded time of finals, it can be hard to stay organized. That’s why I love this spin off of a normal dry erase board. You can add a cute and customized touch to your dorm room with very little supplies and effort.

3. iPhone/iPod Charging Pocket
This little pocket to hold your device while is charging is simply adorable. The plugs are never in the right spot in dorm rooms and this very simple DIY craft is perfect. I only wish I thought of this earlier!

4. Spring-time Decorations for Apps
Continue to deck-out your device with this app that allows you to change the main menu design of your apps and backgrounds. It takes a little time, but it’s a great way to take a study break and well worth it. Now my phone looks spring ready!
