E.L.F. has been on the come-up lately, especially in the dupe department. I mean they have duped everything from Charlotte Tilbury to Supergoop. And even though E.L.F. is one of the most affordable makeup brands out there, it can be hard to know if you should buy some of their products. After trying a lot of their products, here is what products I think are worth your money and what’s not.

E.L.F. Halo Glow Liquid Filter

The Halo Glow is most definitely a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. The price difference is insane, with the Halo Glow being only $14 compared to the $49 that is the Flawless Filter. Having tried both products, I would without a doubt go with the Halo Glow. It works exactly the same as the Flawless filter; it works perfect as a glowy base under makeup or even on it’s own for an effortless bronze look. And of course the added perk of saving yourself $35!

E.L.F. Halo Glow Contour

Another Charlotte Tilbury dupe is the Halo Glow contour. It’s a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand and they are practically identical down to the small sponge applicator. Though the E.L.F. contour is cheaper by $30, I do prefer the Charlotte Tilbury wand. It is much easier to blend and holds up throughout the day, which isn’t the case for the Halo Glow contour. That said, it is by no means a bad product at all; I know plenty of people who use it!

E.L.F. Brow Lift (Clear)

This is by far my favorite product at the moment. Having big brows, though I love them, is hard to maintain every day. But this product has made my life so much easier. Every morning, whether I am wearing makeup or not, I just throw this stuff on a disposable spoolies, wipe it through my brows, shape them a little and then boom… perfect brows that stay on all day. This brow lift keeps them in place all day without getting all dried up or shedding off. It works just as well on the days you want to fill your brows in. It is the perfect product!

E.L.F. Hydrating Camo Concealer

Priced at $7, this is one of the most affordable concealers you can get. Though a lot of people love it, especially as a low price alternative, I do think there are much better concealers on the market. In my experience with the camo concealer, I could not find that perfect match to lighten my under eyes and I found that it really settled into and defined the fine lines under my eyes. I prefer the Tarte Shape Tape or the Nars Creamy Concealer over this product.

E.L.F. Holy Hydration Makeup Cleansing Balm

This stuff works wonders. I have super sensitive and acne prone skin so trying new cleansers on my face is risky. But this cleansing balm has never let me down. It cleans away a full face of makeup with one dime sized amount, lasting one $13 tub a long time. In a short time, it leaves my skin feeling clean without any harsh scrubbing. It is also much cheaper to the alternative cleansing balms you’ll find at Sephora. I 100% recommend this product.

I definitely will be trying more E.L.F. products in the future, but these are my takes for now! E.L.F. is truly one of the best affordable brands out there so hopefully they have more new products (and dupes) to come for me to try out!

What E.L.F. products would splurge on? Save on?
