Welcome to my last Ipsy haul ever. I’ve had Ipsy for almost a year now, and it’s come time for me to cancel my subscription. While I’ve definitely expanded my beauty collection since subscribing, I’m genuinely running out of space for all my products. As a thank you to Ipsy, I would like to recommend Ipsy to all our HerCampus Bentley readers by giving a haul of my final package.

  1. MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in ‘Ruby Woo’

Initial thoughts:

Starting off with a banger, I got a full sized red, MAC lipstick. Great color, is easy to apply and is definitely going to last quite a while because, again, it’s FULL SIZE!

After trying:

I don’t wear red lipstick that much, so I don’t find myself reaching for it that often – but it’s never too late to start!

  1. Beauty for Certain Eyeliner Pencil in ‘persimmon’

Initial thoughts:

This is yet another FULL SIZED product! This one definitely is peaking my interest more than the last product because I LOVE eyeliner pencils.

*Okay wait – I actually just opened it and it’s in this weird bronze shade, but let me try it on real quick*

After trying:

OMG STOP – I actually love it! It’s not something I would ever think of buying for myself, but it’s really unique and makes my eyes pop in such a subtle way. It’s also a ‘twisty’ eyeliner so you don’t have to sharpen it. It’s such a perfect product to get in a beauty subscription box. This is awesome – everyone go buy this!

  1. Smashbox Photo Finish Smooth and Blur Primer

Initial thoughts:

Okay – I wasn’t planning on putting any makeup on today and I’ve literally never used primer in my life, but here goes nothing…

After trying:

I just applied it and it’s clear so it looks like nothing is on my skin, but it says to wait 30 seconds to apply my base…

OKAY SLAY! My pores are literally ALL GONE, and my concealer went on so effortlessly and smoothly – I think I’m in love. This one is travel sized, but I honestly might invest in the real deal – this is great!

  1. ORIGINS GinZing Energizing Gel Cream With Caffeine and Niacinamide

Initial thoughts:

Honestly terrifying name, not gonna lie. I feel like caffeine eye cream is going to give me some allergic reaction – I just feel like caffeine isn’t supposed to go on your face, let alone near your eyes. It’s apparently supposed to moisturize and increase radiance. Here goes it!

After trying:

I’m not gonna sugar coat it – I didn’t see any results after the first use, but it definitely did something. I’m never that impressed with creams and serums with me because the results aren’t instant. It felt nice when I was applying it though, so I’ll definitely keep it around for a little selfcare spa night in the future.

  1. Marc Anthony Strictly Curl Envy Cream

Initial thoughts:

I’m honestly super excited to try this product because I’ve always wished my hair was more voluminous, so I really hope this works. The only thing is that it needs to be used on wet hair and wash day is tomorrow so I shall ttyl, xox.

After trying:

I’m in shambles. I put this on my hair while I showered, and I scrunched my hair for probably a whole hour and my hair is completely pin straight – just like it was before. I won’t say it’s a terrible product because I think my hair type just can’t hold texture, but if your hair is anything like mine I wouldn’t try this. Maybe I’ll just get a perm.
