- SK and Raven
So, the one full ceremony we got to see was SK and Raven and it was heartbreaking to say the least. I don’t know about you guys but after watching them read their vows and get ready I was CERTAIN that they would both say yes. Honestly, from the start of the show I wasn’t certain about their compatibility because Raven is so independent and opinionated whereas SK comes from an extremely traditional family, but they found a way to make that something they both respected and loved about each together. We watched Raven grow, truly fall in love with him, and his mom, so when he said no my heart broke.
I think that they have potential to get back together, because his reasoning behind the no wasn’t that he didn’t love her but that it wasn’t going to work right now. They started as my least favorite couple and became one of my favorites so I have hope for them in the future that they will be together when the time is right for both of them, and they have Ravens family’s support.
2. Nancy and Bartise
The last thing we were left with was the suspenseful moment at this pairs wedding, waiting to see if Bartise will say “I do”. I honestly do not know how this one will turn out. I fully believe Nancy will say yes, she is fully in love, but I am not sure about Bartise. I think it is highly likely he will say yes, but eventually file for divorce because he isn’t sure about her. Nancy is beautiful, fun, caring, financially stable and more but all he can focus on is that she isn’t his type and that she believes in abortion. I feel like she deserves someone who will appreciate her for who she is and respects her, because he obviously doesn’t. He doesn’t make her feel confident in who she is when she should feel that way with her fiancé.
I am interested to see what will follow for this couple, but I am not confident it will be a happy ending.
3. Zanab and Cole
Absolutely not. I have a feeling they will say yes at the altar, because they do love each other and don’t want to start over, but I don’t see them lasting at all. They are completely different in every way that is important in a marriage. Cole has told her that she isn’t as attractive as the other girls, asked her if she is bipolar, and more to make her feel awful about herself and their relationship. Zanab is also much more type A, and less into having fun than Cole is, so he constantly feels like he can’t be himself. It is true that opposites attract, and maybe they will surprise me but these two are driving each other crazy during every interaction they have and that is not sustainable in the long term.
4. Alexa and Brennon
Yes! These two are definitely saying yes. There only problem so far is that they haven’t had a problem. I think that they love each other enough to get over whatever disagreements they come across. They are compatible, have the same goals in life, get along with each other’s families and have so much love for each other. I am so excited to watch them as a couple in real life.
5. Colleen and Matt
The last couple on the show are Colleen and Matt and my honest opinion is that I have no idea. Throughout the pods she was painted as someone who didn’t know what she wanted but when she chose Matt, she showed the world that she does. They are extremely compatible and clearly very much in love, but they also struggle in conflict. Matt runs away at the slightest of conflict and so I am not sure what either of them will say. At their last dinner Colleen said that her answer as of right then was no. She isn’t confident he will be there for her when things go bad, which is fair. I am hopeful for them, but unsure.
