HerCampus Bentley: What’s your favorite Bentley memory?

Matthew Bourdeau: Last Spring, there was a student showcase for the Boston Relief Fund. I got a chance to meet other artists and musicians on campus. It was cool to incorporate my love for music with a good cause.

HCB: If I were to hand you front row tickets for any musical artist, alive or dead, who would it be?

MB: The Beatles, I grew up listening to them.

 

HCB: If anyone could cover one of your original songs, who would it be?

MB: Dave Matthews Band, they’re a really dynamic band.

 

HCB: If a penguin wearing a sombrero walked through that door right now, what would he say and why is he here?

MB: “There’s a noise complaint, there’s not enough noise. “

 

HCB: If I were to come over for dinner, what would you make for me?

MB: Spaghetti Squash with Turkey Meatballs.

 

HCB: If I were to buy you a drink at the bar, what would it be?

MB: Whatever IPA they have on tap.

 

HCB: Pick two celebrities to be your parents.

MB: My father would be Will Ferrell, he could say almost anything and make me laugh, and then Colbie Caillat for my mother. 

 

HCB: Money aside, if you could have any career you wanted, what would it be?

MB: I would be a wandering artist; I would travel with one suitcase of clothing and commit myself fully to my music.

 

HCB: On a scale from 1 to 10, rate yourself on how weird you are.

MB: Depends on what day it is, but usually 5.43, but could definitely be as high as a 7.

HCB: What would you consider to be your theme song?

MB: Thrift Shop-Macklemore

 

HCB: If you could spend a day in the life of someone else, who would it be?

MB: Chris Martin. He gets to do what he loves while seeing the world.

 

HCB: Is there any moment in your life you wish you could do over?

MB: I don’t really look back; I believe things happen for a reason.

 

HCB: If Mad Falcon were to name a sandwich after you, what would it be called?

MB: The Deezy

HCB: Describe your dream girl.

MB: My dream girl is funny, cute, athletic, shorter than me, interested in music but doesn’t necessarily play it.

 

HCB: You’re taking your dream girl out but you have no money, what would you do?

MB: I’d take her kayaking down a lazy river with a picnic lunch and a serenade. 

 

HCB: If you were to serenade a girl, what song would you choose?

MB: I would leave it up to the girl. Every girl is unique and special, and I couldn’t pick just one song to use for each of them.

 

HCB: Where would you go on your ideal honeymoon?

MB: Bordeaux, France. The Bourdeaus take on Bordeaux.

 

HCB: Blondes or Brunettes?

MB: Dirty Blonde
