If you’ve been keeping up with the Kardashians, you know that Bruce, not Kim, has been making headlines lately. For the past year, Bruce’s changing appearance has sparked much conversation about whether or not he is transitioning into a woman. Late January though, People magazine confirmed the rumors that Bruce is indeed transitioning into a woman. For those who do not keep up with the Kardashians this may come as a surprise, but for those who do, it only confirms what we’ve all been thinking. Bruce has been spotted wearing make-up, earrings, painted nails on many occasions (hot pink, red, French manicure), and has been sporting longer than usual locks. Bruce’s lips appear to be fuller and his face does appear more womanly than before from rumored plastic surgery. It is also rumored Bruce got plastic surgery to reduce the size of his Adam’s apple.
According to People Magazine, the whole Kardashian/Jenner family support Bruce in his decision. When asked about Bruce’s transitioning by Entertainment Tonight, Kim said that Bruce is the happiest she’s ever seen him and that he will tell his story when the time is right. It is rumored that time will be as early as May in a documentary series on E! and with an interview with Diane Sawyer. Whenever Bruce does decide to disclose information about his transition, it will be monumental. As a former Olympian and reality star, Bruce has the chance to inspire and be a role model for transgender people around the world.

In addition to Bruce’s changing appearance, Bruce was in a fatal car accident about a week ago. Bruce rear ended a Lexus sending it into oncoming traffic where it collided with a black Hummer. Kim Howe, the driver of the Lexus, also struck the car in front of her. It is unclear if this happened before or after Bruce hit her. She died at the scene of the accident and others were injured. Bruce walked away from the crash uninjured. Bruce initially told police he was fleeing paparazzi, but this was later proved untrue. It was rumored Bruce was on his cellphone, making him liable for man slaughter charges, but pictures surfaced of Bruce smoking not texting when he hit the Lexus.
Bruce is normally one of the more low key members of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, avoiding media attention. It seems like this is changing though and that we will continue to see Bruce in the headlines in the coming months.
