5 Sweet Outfits for Valentine’s Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Love is definitely in the air my friends! Valentine’s Day is right around the corner so it is time for us to prep our outfits for when that special someone takes us out! Even if that is not the case, you should still take advantage of Valentine’s Day weekend to go out and let loose with some of your favorite people. I have several different options for you so you’re prepared for wherever you might end up on the 14th!

1.     The Dinner Date Outfit

Going out to dinner is one of the common outings for Valentine’s Day so it’s best to keep your outfit simple and sweet. A skater dress will give your outfit a more playful concept, while pointy-heeled shoes will help your outfit appear classy and practical. Also, don’t be afraid to pair your dress with an open cardigan…it is still winter!

Museum and paint night dates are ideal for getting in touch with your more artistic side! This outfit will help you look the part for the occasion. Most people assume that floppy hats are only meant for spring and summer; however, black floppy hats can be worn year-round!

This outfit is meant to be comfortable and cute so you can still be trendy if you plan on going out or cozy if you plan on having a movie night on the couch. Even though this look is rather simple, don’t be afraid to accessorize with a cute scarf or even a chunky ring to help make the look your own.
