The 10 Stages of Being Weather Confused, as Told by Friends

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Fall in New England is a strange time of year. As Bentley students, we’ve all been there—we awake early to freezing temperatures in the morning, but by the end of our first class, it feels like the middle of summer. This inconsistent weather, in many cases, leads to one thing: a serious case weather confusion. Luckily, we’re not alone—here are the 10 emotions we all feel during this complicated season, as told by Friends.

1.)   Checking the weather app and accepting the fact that its 34° outside.

2.)   Getting dressed and putting on all of those layers.

3.)   Making the long and frigid walk up the Smith stairs to class.

4.)   The feeling when you finally sit down in your warm classroom.

5.)   When you’ve been sitting in class for a while, and it starts to get hot.

6.)   Looking out the window and dreaming about all the times before when you weren’t sitting in a sweltering classroom.

7.)   Walking out of your classroom’s building and feeling the refreshing cool air hit you…

8.)   …and then being immediately frozen again.

9.)   Hiking back down the stairs to your dorm dressed in all your layers, and starting to sweat from the heat all over again.

10.)   Surviving another day of fall in New England.
