What are your interests and hobbies?
I usually can be found at home, watching movies, and baking things I find on Pinterest. I am definitely a homebody, but I also love to shop, try new restaurants, and spend time with my friends and family.
What are you involved in/off-campus?
I really don’t have a good answer for this one. I have a job that’s pretty rad I guess (?)
Why did you choose Belmont?
I went to a really small school all of my life. I wanted to go a little outside my comfort zone and be independent for a while. Belmont was far away from home, but not too far and the size was what I was looking for. Besides that, the campus is BEAUTIFUL and I knew it was where I wanted to go. After I got accepted, I didn’t even think about going anywhere else.
Any Role Models? Why?
Ummm.. Can I say my mom? Cuz that’s what I’m going to say. My mom is my best friend. Especially over the past couple of years we have grown so close. She put her dreams on hold for a while so she could raise my siblings and I, but she went back and pursued them and is now a teacher. I love watching how happy she is when she teaches. She loves her kids so much. She never complains about her work even though it is rough sometimes and she is so strong. She’s always there for me no matter what and I’d be so proud to grow up to be like her.
What is your favorite spot at Belmont?
My favorite spot at Belmont is the caf in the morning. I love getting an omelet and having a little quiet time to myself before the day starts.
Favorite spot in Nashville?
My favorite spot in Nashville is Opry Mills (and I love the Opryland Hotel too). I went there when I was really little and I just have a lot of good memories at both places. My mom and I go there every time she visits and take pictures in the photo booths. And who doesn’t love a good shopping trip?
Fun fact about me: I am really addicted to chapstick. It’s a serious problem. I don’t want to know how much money I’ve spent on NIVEA in the past 5 years.
What is your favorite thing about HC?
I love that I get to write and I can pretty much talk about whatever I want to. It is very therapeutic, but also gives me purpose. I also love reading what everyone else has to say. It’s a great environment to engage in conversation and learn about different opinions.

I wish more people knew that I am actually hilarious…. Or at least I think I am.
