What are your interests and hobbies?

I love writing songs, spending time with my family, and re-watching episodes of The Office.

What are you involved in/off-campus?

Belmont’s Speech and Debate Team, Belmont University Songwriters Association, and Belmont Service Corps

Why did you choose Belmont?

I chose Belmont because it has been my dream school since sophomore year of high school. I fell in love with the campus, Nashville, and the music business program.

Any Role Models? Why?

My dad. He is my best friend, and I go to him to talk about everything. He always taught me to be kind to people, love life, and work hard at whatever you do. My mom is also amazing. She is the most patient soul in the world, and taught me that it is important to shut up every once in a while and listen. My sister is pretty great as well. She taught me to always stay sarcastic when need be. DANG. I guess you could say my family is okay.

What is your favorite spot at Belmont? In Nashville?

At Belmont: The futon in my dorm. I have a perfect view of Nashville’s skyline, and my roommate and I sit on our futon and talk about life, while staring dramatically out of the window.

Fun fact about me:

 I love pasta

“I am Beyoncé always.” –Michael Scott

Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Sarah came to Belmont as a member of the class of 2019. Sarah joined the Her Campus Belmont team as a chapter contributor her sophomore year and took over as President just a few months later. While you'll find her studying corporate communications and theatre during school, in her free time she enjoys hot yoga, bingeing Game of Thrones, and working to make her chapter the absolute best it can be.
