YouTubers to Watch Now

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Ever since I discovered the amazing world of YouTube senior year of high school, I have been hooked. It first started as obsessions with the major beauty gurus of Juicystar07, AllThatGlitters21, and DulceCandy, all of whom I still watch and love. But in the last few years, I have expanded to watch a butch of different genres of videos. Here are three of my current favorite channels.

SacconeJolys

SacconeJolys is the daily vlog of Jonathon and Anna Saccone-Joly in Cork, Ireland but soon-to-be London, England, as they are moving there in the next few months. Anna started out as a beauty guru on YouTube, and still does beauty videos that are great, which is how they came to vlog everyday of their lives for the past almost four years. They have two of the cutest little kids: 20-month-old Emilia and 4-week-old Eduardo. What makes watching their daily lives worth 15-20 minutes of my life each day? Anna is gorgeous and real, she shares her fears and failings as if we were girlfriends. Jonathon is hilarious, he makes me laugh everyday. Emilia is hands-down the cutest child I have ever seen. She cracks me up and makes my heart melt on the daily. It has been so amazing to be able to watch her grow. Eduardo is also so cute. He is one of those babies that looks like a little old man and he is so well behaved. I love being a fly on the wall their cute little family life. And I almost forgot to mention that they have six dogs, which just makes the whole thing more entertaining. Give them a watch and become a Friendliest Friend too!

LauraInTheKitchen

LauraInTheKitchen is the cooking channel of Laura Vitale. Laura came to the United States from Italy when she was younger so she specializes in real Italian cooking, but has more than a little bit of everything on her channel. Her recipes are super easy to follow, whether she is making Christmas ham or scrambled eggs. Laura is also so easy to watch. Sometimes, I like to watch her cooking videos before I go to sleep. They are a nice de-stresser before bed. Check out her channel for hundreds of recipes- whatever you are looking for I can almost guarantee she has a video for it!

LilithMoon

Okay, so LilithMoon does fit into the beauty genre, but has a major focus on hair. Lilith is a goddess of hair styling. Name it, she can do and probably has a video on it already. She uses hair extensions sometimes in order to be able to show styles for tons of different types of hair, which I really appreciate. I also really enjoy her makeup, nail, and fashion videos. Alright, here is the best part: her voice. I could listen to her all day long. She is not a native English speaker, she actually speaks a ton of languages, but she is very easy to understand. Her accent makes everything she says sound so beautiful. If I really need to relax, I put her videos on a loop and just unwind to her voice. She also has a cute little bird that makes a few appearances in her videos. Give her a watch for hair tutorials and bonus relaxation time.

I hope that you check out these YouTubers’ channels, expand your YouTube obsession, or finally start one. There are genres and channels for every interest, find yours!
