Why You Should Join HCBC: Testimonials

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Are you an avid Her Campus BC reader? Do you love to write about popular topics and current events? Looking for a way to gain experience in media and communications? Lucky for you, the Her Campus BC Fall 2016 application is now live! In case you’re not convinced yet, we asked our current HCBC members what the best part about their experience has been so far (for me it’s the free swag and snacks at every meeting!). Here’s what they had to say:

“I joined Her Campus BC before I even walked onto the BC campus. I stayed with the club for 4 years because it gave me an outlet to talk about issues and meet great people.” – Blake, ’16

“Her Campus made me super confident in my writing abilities!” – Shannon, ’19

“Her Campus offered a big network of people. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to meet members from different schools and write about topics that were restricted by some other BC publications” – Paula, ’18

“Through writing articles and reading the articles written by my peers, I felt more connected to campus. My experience with HCBC has allowed me to see the world through the eyes of all different types of people – Chandler, ’17

“HCBC introduced me to a group of people in all grades who I could ask for advice about life, school, and just about anything else!”– Mikaela, ’17

“The best part of Her Campus for me is the sense of pride you feel when you see random people reading and hear people talking about your articles!” – Jackie, ’19

“Her Campus BC allowed me to find my voice as a writer.”– Diana, ’19

“HCBC offered me a smaller community within the larger BC community. It helped me to see BC through a fun, creative perspective. – Maddie, ’19

“Being a part of Her Campus allowed me to meet people outside of my Lynch classes!” – Katie, ’17

Join the fun of Her Campus BC! Expand your writing skills, become a part of a national community, and let your voice be heard. Our application is open until May 22nd!

Emily Boches is currently a student at Boston College, majoring in Communications with a minor in Philosophy. She is also hoping to become a Veterinarian in the future. Emily is originally from Massachusetts, just 30 minutes outside of Boston. Her small city lies right on the coast where the beach is no more than 2 minutes away. She spends her free time getting addicted to shows on Netflix (it happens to the best of us), napping, and taking Buzzfeed quizzes.
