What Your Favorite Sanderson Sister Says About You

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

As October sets in, we are reminded of our favorite Halloween movies. While Jasper and Halloweentown are strong contestants, Hocus Pocus is without a doubt number one on the podium. Maybe your 9-year-old self didn’t spend hours rewinding the VHS until you successfully got down the choreography and lyrics of “I Put a Spell on You”, but chances are you still loved it. See below what your favorite Sanderson sister says about your personality!

Sarah Sanderson: You’re a bit naïve and chances are you don’t take things too seriously, but not in a bad way. You know when to focus but easily brush off mishaps and mistakes. For you, everything is about the experience. Things like goofing off and laughing endlessly enchant you. However, you are also easily enchanted by other people. While this isn’t necessarily a downfall, you can be a bit flirty sometimes. If you don’t think so, ask your friends—they’ll tell you the truth.

Other likelihood: You secretly have to urban dictionary your entire Cards Against Humanity hand

Winnie Sanderson: You are a natural born leader. You’re power hungry and driven and won’t stop until you get what you want. You may be a bit of a control freak and a tad insensitive at times but who cares because you get stuff done. Simple as that. You also have a tendency to be outspoken and blunt but lets face it, if you don’t tell it like it is who will?! Final remark…you are going to be the president one day so you might as well start figuring out your foreign policy plans now.

Other likelihood: You are the self proclaimed Beyoncé when you create a present day rendition of the Survivor music video by Destiny’s Child in your room.

Mary Sanderson: You are the “good friend”—loyal, sweet, and comforting. Everyone wishes they could have someone like you. You’re right there to offer a pick me up and you aren’t afraid to make fun of yourself to do it. Reason being: you’re loved ones are of utmost importance to you. While you’re definitely kind, you’re equally as awkward. You know it, we all know it, but that’s what makes you great.

Other likelihood: You view your reoccurring trips and falls down million as heroic deeds because you lighten the embarrassment for others when they do the same

DISCLAIMER: if you identify with any of the Sanderson sisters, chances are you have some evil in you too. This type of evil includes but is not limited to:

1.     Being a social media stalker

2.     Being someone who takes too long to order at the Chocolate Bar

3.     Being someone who tries to save seats at a Kerry Cronin talk
