We’re Being Rated By Uber Drivers (Say What?)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Most of us have a love/hate relationship with Uber. It’s so tempting and convenient, but it can get expensive really quickly, especially when you’re riding alone. And there always seems to be a surge charge… am I right? I love Uber because it’s unbelievably convenient. It’s almost too convenient though. Need a manicure? Perfect—I’ll just hop in an Uber to get to the appointment! Great. It will be here in three minutes. IT’S. JUST. TOO. EASY.

It has come to my attention that Uber drivers rate us just as we rate them. Now, we can request to see what our rating is by:

  1. Open the Uber application
  2. Click on “Profile” in the top left corner of your screen
  3. Choose “Help” and then “Account”
  4. Select “I’d like to know my rating”

Soon, you’ll get an email from someone on the Uber team with your rating and tips on how to become a five-star passenger (as if we needed another thing to strive for!)

Good luck Uber riders!
