In case you have been living under a rock this past week, the Patriots won the Super Bowl. Again. Most of you reading this article are probably Patriots fans, and if that’s true, then let me tell you what it’s like on the other side of the fence. And if you don’t like the Pats, then here’s an empathetic article for you.
First of all, there are Pats jerseys everywhere. And everyday. We are surrounded by #12 Brady jerseys and there’s no escaping it.
Second of all, for those of you who aren’t pats fans, we faced a huge internal conflict deciding to go to the parade or not. One side of us says “It would be awesome to witness history”, but the other side says “I would rather eat dog food than support the pats.”
Third, some people who you even thought might have been your friend suddenly became a Patriots fan overnight and now you have 1 less friend.
Fourth, every Patriots fan around you is so elated and living on cloud nine that their team won, and you start experiencing depression about how your team didn’t even make it into the championship. You may even consider becoming a pats fan, but then remember that you despise them.
