T.J.Maxx Opening on Newbury!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Last week Thursday, T.J. Maxx opened a three-story store on the corner of Newbury St. and Massachusetts Ave. As a self proclaimed Maxxinista, I had been anxiously awaiting the opening for months. Every time I passed the vacant building I was paralyzed by the thought of it soon being filled with deals too good to pass up.

When the day finally came to venture into the store I became giddy. (The night before I dreamt of finding the perfect pair of Steve Madden sandals for the summer at half price.) After a ride on the T to Hynes Convention Center, I ascended the stairs to *heaven.* Inside, body scrubs, hair treatments, and lotion lined the walls grouped by color. Before proceeding I grabbed the biggest cart size available.

On the first floor, purses, luggage and jewelry accompanied the walls of beauty products. On the second floor, racks of designer clothes, ranging from business to athletic wear, filled the room. Around the corner, shoes were displayed in rows. Home products, perfect for any dorm, were sold on the third floor.

I filled my cart with my favorite shampoo and conditioner, facial scrub, a lightning cable for my iPhone and a new water bottle. When comparing the original prices of the products to the T.J.Maxx price, I saved over fifty dollars. Her Campus BC would also like to thank T.J.Maxx for providing us with awesome gift cards to use at the new location!

If you’re obsessed with T.J.Maxx, or just getting a good deal on anything you could ever want, head over to the new T.J.Maxx location and checkout what they have to offer, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
