With spring here, I bet you are all itching to try out some awesome spring makeup trends. Even if the weather has been mostly gloomy with “April Showers”, your makeup can be colorful. I’m not personally one to be too daring with my makeup, so this article will tell you how you can wear a bold makeup trend while still looking appropriate for any occasion.
Angelic Eyes
This trend involves soft pink or white eye shadow on the lids. Because the color is so light, many people add a hint of glitter to spice up this look a bit. You may be thinking that glitter is only for concerts or New Years, but because the other hues of this look are so subtle you’re able to pull all a little glitter even for a day look.
Radiant Orchid Lips
I was never very big into lipstick or lip stains. I usually just stick to my Chapstick, but this trend is one I just might have to try. Many celebrities are pulling off the radiant orchid lips and can act as your inspiration and this can be a transition color to another lipstick color that is trending this season, orange. Since this is one of the bolder looks for spring, I would suggest pairing it goes a subtle eye shadow, thin line of gel liner and a few swipes of mascara for the eyes.
Pop of Green
If you don’t wear green eye shadow the right way it can end up looking like a St. Patrick’s Day or day at the circus gone wrong. It can be a risky choice, but by playing down the rest of your makeup, you can pull off this springtime makeup look. After applying your green eye shadow, put a neutral color in your crease to blend it out and tone the color down.
Don’t be afraid to try a bit of color every now and then. If you have the conviction to strut it, you can pull it off. Confidence is the key to pulling off any look!
