Going abroad is super exciting! There are so many new experiences you’re about to have and so many new places you’re about to see. But, there are a lot of things to think of before you go abroad. Here are some of the top three most important things to think about.

1. Passport/ Visa

This is probably the most important aspect of your preparation because you’ll need a passport simply to get on the plane to the country. It’s also important to check and see if you’re location requires you to get a Visa. Not every country does, but they take time so it’s important to check beforehand.

2. Plane Ticket

You’re going to have to buy a plane ticket eventually so you might a well do it as soon as possible. Buying a ticket early will help you save money for your travels because plane tickets are usually less expensive the earlier you buy them. Make sure you know your departure date, though, so you buy a ticket for the right day!

3. Housing

Many schools abroad require you to find your own accomadations, and while they will probably help you find a place to live, you’ll probably have to fill out some forms before. The sooner you fill out these housing forms the more likely it will be that you get a good place to live.

Hopefully these were helpful reminders about some of the important things you’ll need to do before heading off on your abroad aventure! Enjoy your time wherever you go, and remember to have fun!
