Pinterest Fun Fridays on Foster: St Patrick’s Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Let’s be real, St. Patrick’s Day is our day to drink. I was thinking about making Irish Soda Bread, but then I thought back to my month in Ireland and my trip to the Jameson Factory, so I decided to make this for you all. It’s extremely easy and a great drink for St. Patrick’s Day.

This week: Jameson and Ginger Ale

Aine and I enjoying our drinks at the Jameson Factory

Ingredients :

  • 1 ½ oz. Jameson whiskey
  • Juice of ½ a lime
  • Ice cubes
  • Regular or diet ginger ale (I used regular)
  • Several fresh mint leaves (optional)

Making the Drink:

  • Combine Jameson, lime juice and mint leaves
  • Add Ice
  • Pour enough ginger ale to fill the glass
  • Enjoy!

Now you can have a festive, authentic Irish drink for St. Patrick’s Day. If any of you are in Ireland, I highly recommend taking a tour of the Jameson Factory. It’s much less crowded than the Guinness Factory and is an actual tour as opposed to the self-guided one in the Guinness Factory. Hope you enjoy!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Peace, Love, and Pinterest,

Katherine
