Meet the Minds Behind Orgo Made Simple

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Do you know what’s really stressful?  Organic Chemistry.  Do you know what is really great?  The five BC students who created Orgo Made Simple, a free resource that will help BC students (and other students around the country) sift through the difficult and often confusing material that accompanies Organic Chemistry classes.  Did we mention that it is free?

Max Ruge, the founder of Orgo Made Simple, and his team (Elaine Hynds, Alex Lucas, Andrew Francl, and Christopher Karousatos) took care to make sure the website is straightforward and extremely easy to use.  The online textbook supplements the textbook that you are already using for class so you don’t need to go online to Google answers that may or may not be correct.  The student-run site focuses on the first semester of Orgo, when the material is the most daunting, and the dropout rate is the highest.

In addition, the site is chock-full of practice problems and thorough answers that are perfect for test prep and comprehension.  Whether you are studying for the MCAT or are just taking a college-level chemistry class, this site is your one-stop-shop for success!

No longer will Organic Chemistry put a damper on your semester, or be the reason you give up your dream of working in the medical field!

Visit the website here and get to work!

I am a Political Science major and Women's and Gender Studies minor at Boston College. I am an RA on campus and am involved in the Student Admissions Program. Since I am from Florida, I can legitimately say that I love long walks on the beach. I also love getting lost in a world fabricated by a novel, there is honestly nothing better.
