Meet our newest cuties, my Appa parents, Brendan and Brenna! After going on Appa my freshman year (shout out to Jack Roulett and Michelle Blair for being amazing leaders), I decided to do it again my sophomore year and was lucky enough to have Brendan and Brenna lead me through an incredible week in Hurley, Virginia. I’m sure that after getting to know them you’ll love them almost as much as I do. Make sure to say hi and call them mom and dad if you see them around!

Best thing about Appa:
Brenna: The community that you build with people from all different grades and all different majors that come together for one common reason
Brendan: Definitely our ability to touch the lives of so many students in a way that can’t be taught in a classroom. From the retired coal miner you meet down in Virginia to the BC senior you would’ve never crossed paths with otherwise, Appa brings together the nal and wood, and through service, builds the house that is founded on love and supported by each other
