Spring break has come and gone.  Days spent staring out into the ocean, sleeping by the pool, and chilling with friends have turned into days spent trudging across a snowy campus, dozing off in O’Neill, and struggling to find the perfect mid-semester balance.  When the March blues sink in and you just can’t find the silver lining, remind yourself that everything is okay.  So you wore yoga pants…4 days in a row.  Big deal!  So you blast One Direction every time you walk to and from class. Who cares! Sometimes, collegiettes need to take a step back from their frantically busy lives, and remember: Hey, it’s Okay…

1. To get a healthy serving of froyo at Lower only as an excuse to consume a massive amount of Oreos.

2. To refer to the cute guy that you’ve had your eye on as your boyfriend (even he has a girlfriend).

3. To time your dining hall visits so they align perfectly with those of the football team.  Or the hockey team.  Or the water polo team.  You get the idea.

4. To scout out a table in Hillside “Hunger Games” style during the 12pm lunch rush.  May the odds be ever in your favor.

5. To pretend like nobody saw you, and to keep walking, not turning back, when you slip on ice walking around campus.

6. To pin recipes you know you may never make, outfits you know you may never be able to afford, and houses you know you will never live in on Pinterest.  A girl can dream, right?

7. To wear leggings more frequently than any other form of pants.  Comfort trumps all.

8. To order Fin’s, or any other takeout, simply because you consider the dining hall to be way too far away at the moment.

9. To wear a BC hat to hide the fact you haven’t showered in days.

10. To use Tinder to meet new people.  At least you’re being social – even if it is from the comfort of your own bed.

HEY, IT’S NOT OKAY…

1. To make eye contact with the person walking behind you and then not hold the door for them.  Manners people!

2. To make an appearance in Cleveland Circle on Senior Night as an underclassman.
