February is here which means Valentine’s Day is coming up really soon. If you’re stuck on what to do with your Valentine’s date and need idea for last minute plans, look no further. Below are some fun, inexpensive, and even unique date suggestions.

1. Ice skating in Snowport and then tacos at BarTaco

Hold hands and skate along  at the ice rink in Seaport’s winter wonderland, Snowport. It’s $5 to rent skates, and the fun is endless. Not only is this a cute date activity, it’s also a great workout and way to work up an appetite. After you finish skating to your heart’s content, head over to Seaport’s Bartaco for some delicious $2-$3 tacos and maybe a margarita or two if you’re both 21+.

2. Go bowling or play arcade games at Lucky Strike

If you want a little bit of competition on this date night, check out Lucky Strike in the Fenway area. Take turns bowling and see if you can get a strike; make it romantic by giving your partner an incentive (a kiss) for making a strike or spare. Since it’s February, they already have a list of arcade games couples should play. There is also a bar area if you get thirsty after all that competition. So head on over and enjoy!

3. Find a speakeasy or speakeasy-themed bar

If you’re 21+, going to a speakeasy is a cool way to switch up the typical bar date. These neat places came out of the Prohibition era when alcohol was illegal and bars needed to stay under the radar. Because of this, many speakeasy- themed bars have a secret entrance or hidden passage in order to get to it. Baldwin and Sons Trading Co. seems like a cool place for a cute Valentine’s date.

Whatever your plans for Valentine’s Day, you can’t go wrong with any of these options.
