Finals Food: 5 Foods to Eat that Boost Your Test Scores

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

When it comes to studying for finals, every little bit helps.  Boost your brainpower by incorporating these five foods into your everyday diet during finals and (hopefully!) score some extra points on exams!

1.     Blueberries:  Research has shown that these delicious little treats improve one’s motor skills and ability to learn, not to mention they also reduce stress.

2.     Salmon:  Fish contains Omega-3 fatty acids that increase cognition, alertness, memory, mood, and anxiety.

3.     Coffee:  Not only will it keep you away while studying, but coffee also benefits your brain.

4.     Tea: Not a coffee drinker?  That’s okay; tea also contains antioxidants that will add to your brainpower.

5.     Pomegranate:  Like blueberries, this superfruit contains key antioxidants that boost your brain.
