Attention ladies! One of our favorite nail polish brands, Essie, has introduced its new Resort Collection. It features four brand new polishes perfect for a trip to paradise. My roommates and I are totally Essie-obsessed, so naturally we were very excited to check out the new colors, hoping to add a few to our never-ending collection.

Everyone loves the names of Essie polishes, as they always creatively encompass the unique colors that each Essie bottle holds. Instead of labeling a bottle “dark blue” the creative geniuses behind the scenes come up with an irresistible name like “kiss me under the stars” that causes us to spend the last few dollars in our wallets on another bottle of nail polish. But as always, we justify that a new bottle of polish will bring us beautiful nails and a more put-together look. With that said, the featured colors in this collection are “cocktails & coconuts,” “find me an oasis,” “resort fling,” and “under the twilight.”

The collection is perfect for every girl headed to the beach for spring break, or even for those who are left stuck in the cold dreaming of a tropical vacation.

“Cocktails & Coconuts”

This polish makes getting dressed for cocktail parties that much easier. The neutral hue of this warm-sand polish, with an added subtle shimmer allows the girl who wears it to feel glamorous on any occasion. Pair it with any color dress to warm up your look this vacation season.

“Find Me an Oasis”

Hands down, this is my favorite polish in the collection.  This ice blue color captures all the beauty of glittering beaches in its tiny bottle. Cool waters await those who decide to paint their nails this gorgeous light blue, so don’t wait to feel the water on your toes, paint the ocean right onto your nails.

“Resort Fling”

How could Essie not include some variation of a coral in this collection? They never seem to let us down. This peachy coral color is alluring and flirtatious. It is more toned down than some of the brighter corals associated with vacations, but nevertheless exciting and sure to leave an impression.

“Under the Twilight”

This darker color surprised me when I saw it as a part of the Resort Collection, but once I read the description I couldn’t come up with a reason why it wouldn’t be! This smoky-plum is the perfect night polish for a transition into spring. Wear this color for a night out on your vacation and you’ll be sure to catch the eye of someone new.

Vacation awaits, Collegiettes, so gear up and get ready for the sun!
