Have any idea of what’s better than Halloween just a week away? Well, it’s the fact that College Fashion Week Boston is on the horizon, and Boston College is excited and as ready as ever to enjoy the festivities. Make this coming week double trouble and find another reason to celebrate, get dressed up, and indulge.  Have fun with friends as the work and dedication of writers, correspondents, pub crew, and the founders themselves all leads up to this big event–and fabulous is an understatement.

This year’s coveted College Fashion Week event will be held at The Estate in Boston on Saturday, October 26. It is a night of fun, entertainment, and fashion–and the best part of all, it’s FREE. Yes, you read correctly. An amazing night of glamour and celebration, in the heart of Boston, for a great organization and it’s free. How could it get any better? The show will feature the latest trends presented by college models, and even participants from Her Campus BC.  What better way to strut your stuff, and put into practice all of the trends, tips, and tricks you learn by being a faithful Her Campus reader? There will be tons to do, amazing sponsors, and a whole bunch of fun and fabulous giveaways! Bring a date or some friends, and the night will surely be one of your most fabulous nights out yet. Morgan is a Senior Communications major concentrating in Broadcast Journalism, reporting, and acting. Her passions include writing, film, photography, and being outdoors, and she is eager to pursue a career in the world of television and print journalism. Most recently, she has begun a personal fashion and lifestyle blog which she is having a lot of fun working on this semester. A hopeless romantic, Morgan loves a good romantic comedy or love story. She absolutely loves to travel, enjoys the city, but will always be a nature girl at heart. Her favorite food is Pad Thai.
Kelsey Damassa is in her senior year at Boston College, majoring in Communications and English. She is a native of Connecticut and frequents New York City like it is her job. On campus, she is the Campus Correspondent for the Boston College branch of Her Campus. She also teaches group fitness classes at the campus gym (both Spinning and Pump It Up!) and is an avid runner. She has run five half-marathons as well as the Boston Marathon. In her free time, Kelsey loves to bake (cupcakes anyone?), watch Disney movies, exercise, read any kind of novel with a Starbucks latte in hand, and watch endless episodes of "Friends" or "30 Rock."
