Celebrity drama is my not-so-guilty pleasure. My roommates and I obsess over celebrity couples, both new and old. Here’s our list of couples we wish were still dating.
Jordin Sparks and Jason DeRulo
I love Jordin Sparks (I was so excited when she won American Idol!), so I was stoked when she found love with Jason DeRulo. Jordin took care of Jason when he injured his neck, and Jason even wrote an adorable song about Jordin called “Marry Me” (and Jordin starred in the music video!).
Jana Kramer and Brantley Gilbert
Jana Kramer and Brantley Gilbert would have been country music’s next “it” couple: both were nominated for Best New Artist at the CMAs last year. They were engaged for about a year before calling it quits, and they were just straight up adorable together.
Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas
My middle school dreams were crushed the day Nick and Miley broke up. Though the breakup did bring us the musical gem that is “7 Things,” it brought about the end of an era.
Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling
What girl didn’t want these two to get married? It was The Notebook come to life: we all pictured Ryan growing a beard and building them a gorgeous house in the South, while Rachel paints beautiful pictures from their screen porch. It was pure romantic bliss, and we all envied Rachel.
Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray
Sophia and Chad are another on-screen couple that I wish lasted in the real world. One Tree Hill came to life when these two got married, and even though Lucas ended up with Peyton in Tree Hill, he could be with Brooke in Hollywood (which is what we all wanted, let’s be real).
Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron
Zac and Vanessa made every teenage girl believe in true love. They met on the set of High School Musical, and just like Troy and Gabriella, they were meant to be together forever. They will forever be the benchmark that girls base their relationships off of, and no man will ever compare to Zac Efron.
