The Best Trivia Nights Around BC

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

This summer, my roommate and some of my co-workers decided to go to trivia one night as a way to escape our non-airconditioned, dungeon-like summer sublets. We had a ton of fun hanging out and eating Mexican food while showing off our amazing knowledge in all different subjects (just kidding we came in second to last place, but that’s not important). Anyways, since then I have come across so many bars in the area that have awesome trivia nights! They not only include awesome prizes, but also great food and drink specials, and they usually end early enough that you can still go out after. Here are my top five trivia nights in the nearby area. Check them out and report back!

  • Sunset Cantina—Monday at 8 pm

    • Even though Sunset is right near BU, their trivia night is a must. Plus their nachos and margarita selections are amazing. They’re conveniently located right on the B line, and their Trivia Night is a great way to start the week.

  • Cityside—Tuesday at 8 pm

    • Located in Cleveland Circle, Cityside is a great place to do trivia, because when you’re done you can either just stay there, or walk across the street to MA’s for senior night.

  • Joshua Tree—Tuesday at 8 pm

    • Joshua Tree is a great place to hang out if you get sick of the typical BC bar scene. Their trivia night is super fun and they’re near a ton of great bars on Harvard Ave. so it’s a great place to check out for a change of scenery.

  • Roggie’s—Wednesday at 9 pm

    • Because most of us usually end our nights at Roggie’s sharing a pizza with our friends, why not start the night there as well? You might even win enough prize money to cover your drinks and late-night pizza!

  • Fire + Ice Boston—Wednesday from 6-8pm

    • Although this popular BC dining spot is located near Copley, it is definitely worth the trip. Their trivia is located downstairs in the bar and is always packed. With $2.99 appetizers and Happy Hour drink specials, the T ride will be justified for sure.
