Best Snack Options for Finals

Let’s be real, finals suck. However, there is no way around them (unfortunately). What makes studying easier for me is always having my favorite snacks on hand. Snacking makes the time go by faster and I actually feel more focused. People say that it is important to eat healthy during midterms so you feel alive and energized. While healthy snacking is one option, another route you can take is to treat yourself for enduring the torture your brain goes through while studying. I am going to give you the best of both worlds and provide you with a list of my favorite snacks that will give you energy and are slightly healthier and then a list that will satisfy your taste buds and cravings!

Protein-packed healthy snacks:

  1. Apples and peanut butter

  1. Yogurt and Granola

  1. Almonds

  1. Dark Chocolate

  1. Cheese and Crackers (my favorite is wheat thins and string cheese)

  2. Oatmeal

  1. Hummus and carrots

  2. Trail mix

  3. Hard-boiled eggs

  1. Protein/granola bars

The better options ;)

  1. Cheez-Its

  2. Skinny Pop/Boom Chicka Pop/Smartfood (basically anything popcorn)

  3. Pringles

  4. Honey Wheat Pretzels

  5. Golden Graham Cereal

  6. Animal Crackers

  7. Chex Mix

  8. Goldfish

  9. Bark thins

  10. Chips and Salsa

Whether it’s healthy or unhealthy, who cares! It’s your time to shine and to get through exams… so eat what you want! I hope these ideas help provide you with some finals snack inspirations!
