Believe it or not, spring is well on its way. Tomorrow, when the clock strikes 12:57 p.m., the season of sunshine, flowers, and warmer weather will be upon us. Hopefully we can shed our gloves, hats, scarves, and winter coats for good and focus on brighter and happier things… like springtime beauty!

As Collegiettes, our health and beauty routines are usually the first things that get pushed aside when life gets busy. We forget to moisturize, we neglect our hair, and stress takes over. And working out? What’s that?

To fix these problems, we need some help, and luckily Boston has got our backs. There are a number of Boston-based apps that make finding the perfect beauty salons and booking appointments quick and painless. There are even apps to keep you on schedule when it comes to working out. Check out some of our favorites!

Exhale

Exhale Spa the perfect place to go if you are looking for an effective, yet calming, fitness experience. Through their app, you can book a spa therapy treatment, work a fitness class into your schedule, or even purchase various class packages. The app allows you to view ongoing promotions and it syncs right to your calendar, so you never have an excuse to miss a class.  With three locations in Boston, Exhale Spa is a great way to refresh your spring health and beauty routine.

Btone

With locations in Back Bay, Sudbury, Lexington, and Wellesley, Btone Fitness is all about spicing up your workouts. They promise that you will be “hopelessly addicted” by the end of your first class. Using their app, you can plan and schedule your favorite fitness class. You can also view schedules, sign up for classes, view ongoing promotions, and get the studio’s location and contact information. It is a one-stop shop for all things fitness related! The best part is, your first class is just $5!

BeStyled

After sweating it out during your spring workouts, why not treat yourself to a perfectly styled blow-dry? Be Styled, located just down the street in Chestnut Hill, has a fantastic app that allows you to book and manage your blow-dry appointments to be pretty every day. Plus, you can share your “after” pictures on your social networks for some positive feedback! If you book an appointment Monday-Wednesday, you can show your student ID and save $11!

Given that the spring months are just around the corner in the Boston area, it is definitely time to revamp your beauty and health routines by downloading these awesome apps. And let us know if you have any favorite health and beauty apps that you want to share!
