Be Styled Offers Pampering with Perfection

You are greeted by a sweet and sophisticated staff of stylists upon arrival.  You choose a hairstyle based off your hair color and length from an iPad.  You get your hair washed and massaged, which by the way is a perfect form of stress relief as finals approach.  Everyone gets offered water (regular or cucumber), champagne or coffee as well as candy as they sit and get styled.  And let me say, all of this takes place in a spotless sleek salon of white and baby blue that looks like it was imported straight from a scene of “Gossip Girl”.  I seriously thought someone would have to pinch me after my experience at the newly-opened Be Styled blow-dry bar in Chestnut Hill… was this real life?

This past Friday I went to try out the new blow-dry bar Be Styled in Chestnut Hill, located just by Shake Shack, Lululemon and Pinkberry.  For 30 minutes, I felt like I was being pampered like a princess. This is the perfect place to get your hair done for any special occasion, like commencement balls, formals, weddings, girls night out, or even to add a little pep to your step.  The staff could not be more accommodating and friendly; they truly do each hair style to make you look great!  Each station along the blow-dry bar has its own iPad that you can feel free to use as you are styled.  After I checked the Her Campus BC page though, I wanted to just talk to my friendly stylist and watch “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” which was playing on the two big flat screens.

Be Styled is open 7 days a week.  From their style menu you can choose to be “Be Sleek,” “Be Soft,” “Be Swirly,” “Be Swanky” or “Be Trendy”f or only $35 each.  There are reduced prices for children, too.  They also offer style packs, deep conditioning treatments as well as a month of style.  I will definitely be investing in one of the packs soon because after one visit I am OBSESSED!  I will admit I made fabulous plans for the night just so I could show off the hairstyle!

Senior girls I would book your appointments for commencement ball quickly.  I am sure this place is going to be a godsend for all of the glamorous girls at BC!  I could not recommend Be Styled more highly.  They truly make you feel so pampered throughout the entire appointment, both with their styling skills and overall customer service.  Be Styled’s motto is “Be Pretty Every Day,” and my experience at the salon truly made me feel that way!
