Hello! As you all know, fall break is approaching! Some of you may be going home, whereas others may be staying on campus. Either way, it is the perfect time to decompress from the stress of school and engage in some fun fall activities! Here are some of my favorite things to do in the fall.
1. One of my favorite fall activities is apple picking! Apple picking is so fun because you get to explore a beautiful orchard, drink apple cider, and eat apple cider donuts! Apple farms are also perfect locations for photo shoots!
2. Go to a pumpkin patch! Pumpkin patches are always so much fun. You can take cute photos or go on a hayride!
3. Carve or paint pumpkins. Decorating pumpkins is the perfect way to embrace your creative side! Plus, your cute designs will make awesome decorations for your dorm.
4. Go for a walk and look at the changing colors of the leaves. Going for a stroll during the fall is amazing. The feeling of the crisp air and the leaves crunching under your feet is so therapeutic.
5. Have a night in! Put on your favorite pair of fluffy socks, drink hot cider or cocoa, and watch Halloween movies. You could also light a nice fall scented candle. This activity is perfect for a rainy fall day.
6. Bake a pie or cookies! Everyone loves baked goods, especially on a chilly fall day. You can start perfecting that perfect pumpkin pie recipe for this holiday season. Also, if you have leftovers, you can bring them back to your friends and classmates at school.
7. Go to a thrift store! Autumn is the perfect time to go thrifting because you can snag some super cozy flannels and sweatshirts, or the perfect items for a DIY Halloween costume!
8. Go to a coffee shop and order a PSL! Even though Starbucks is most famous for their pumpkin spice lattes, you do not have to go there to get one. You can always check out a cute little local coffee shop, and see what delicious drinks and treats they have to offer!
I hope you all put on your favorite riding boots and oversized sweaters, and get out and do something fun for fall break!
