Ah, Valentine’s season.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I am definitely a huge romantic, and I actually do like Valentine’s Day. I just really think that college students have lost the excitement of dating, and we instead focus on who we are currently “talking to”/hooking up with/having a “thing” with. As much as I love the boys on campus, there are definitely a few things that they can work on. Hey, we all have room for some improvement, right? Here are just some of the “romantic” gestures from the boys of BC that I’m sure you have experienced at some point or another:
1. When he doesn’t give you the “BC look away”
2. When you go to O’Neill together
3. When he sends you a Facebook invite to his pregame in Walsh
4. When his pick up line is “I’m in CSOM”
5. When he looks at you in the Plex
6. When he pays for your Uber ride home in the morning from off campus to main
7. When he tells you how pretty you are in a crowded Mod
8. When he likes your Instagram and assumes that’s all he has to do to show he’s interested
9. When he Snapchats you to hangout but doesn’t text you
10. When he kicks his roommates out for the night because “he really wants to spend time with just you”
11. When he texts you past midnight that he misses you, even though you just saw him last night
12. When he sits with you in the back of a crowded lecture
13. When he says “I love you” when you win beer pong
14. When he thinks that going to the liquor store for you counts as an apology
But at the end of the day, we love them just the same.
And of course, fourteen reasons just in time for Valentine’s Day!
