10 Thoughts Every Girl Who Knows Nothing About Football Has During Super Bowl Season

As many of you know, this weekend is the Super Bowl: the annual football championship that people have been anticipating since last February… Or, to me, a chance to eat a lot of good food and watch some funny commercials. Kudos to all the girls that understand football, but for everyone else, maybe you can relate to the following:

1. Why in the world would you spend that much money on a ticket? You could adopt like a million puppies with that. Or a horse. You could LITERALLY buy a horse.

1. Friday Night Lights has truly prepared me for this game.

2. Ugh, I wish Tim Riggins was an actual player. Then I would definitely like football.

1. Man, I am SO pumped for the free chips and gauc. There better be bean dip there too. And beer. And pizza! Maybe I’ll skip breakfast and lunch…

1. I should probably decide which team I’m going to root for. Wowww, look at me knowing which teams are playing.

1. I’ll just pick the team with the cuter quarterback.

2. Shoot, I have to remember to go to the bathroom during the game so I don’t miss the commercials. 100% the best part of the Super Bowl.

1. Is it bad that I know who’s performing the halftime show and the National Anthem but none of the players on either team?

2. Yeah, probably… Maybe I’ll learn more about football and start tackling those gender stereotypes. HA, tackling.
