Lookin Bold in Green and Gold: 6 Makeup Looks to Celebrate Our 6-0 Football Team

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Baylor chapter.

It’s super hard to look fabulous when you’re screaming encouragement to your team and booing the opponents, but with these looks, you’ll be pretty darn close. I know not everyone is comfortable going all out and wearing crazy fan makeup, so here’s a gradual incline of wild makeup looks for die-hard Baylor fans.

1. Bear Naked

Don’t wear any makeup! It’s hot enough as it is… there’s no need for anything other than sunblock and chapstick. For the Northerners who can’t quite handle the heat yet, consider going as you are.

2. Natural

Don’t worry about blending colors or straightening your eyeliner. Just put on your face makeup and call it a day! Plus you’ll be recognizable the next day.

3. Go Green

The most wearable look. You might even wear it when you’re not at a Baylor game. All you need is your regular face makeup, a few shades of green eyeshadow, mascara, and a light lipstick. It’s a great look to promote recycling too.

4. The Gold Medal

A little more exciting. Definitely for a person with a love of metallics. You’ll need your regular face makeup, yellow and gold eyeshadows, mascara, a bright highlighter, and light metallic lip color. There’s nothing better than cheering for your team while rocking this gold without the gold price point.

5. A Sweaty Victory

For this one, you want to look like you’re glowing. You’ll put highlighter on your whole face before applying foundation and then a light coat on top, some nice blush to give you that “just went jogging” flush, gold or glitter eyeshadow, and a sparkly lipgloss. You bring the heat with this look!

6. The Baylor Bear

The fearless fan who’s all in! Let go of your makeup inhibitions and just let your green and gold fly. I’m gonna be honest, it took a while to do and you need a bunch of eyeshadow greens and golds, but I think it’s totally worth it. You’ll need a steady hand and LOTS of blendable colors. Don’t forget a neutral lipstick and just pat on some gold eyeshadow while it’s still wet so you look as expensive as you are.

Bear fans don’t fear the heat–especially when it threatens our makeup–so put on those bright colors and give a “Sic ‘Em!” See you at the game!
