Launch day was full of hectic preparation, tragic balloon deaths, crazy Uber drivers, and last minute trips to Party City. After months of pushing back and planning, HC Babson finally had a launch party! We were all terrified that no one would show up, especially since we ordered food for about 40 people (there is nothing sadder than pizza going to waste), but imagine our surprise when we got there and saw that there was a line of people outside the door. To put it simply, we were all shook.
Over 70 people showed up and many expressed an interest in becoming involved with HC in the Spring. We gave information about our upcoming plans, had a couple of giveaways (some #HCsurvival kit goodies like the Tarte Palette as well as Amazon gift cards among other things), and had a lot of food.

The lucky winners were: Susanna DSouza, YunWen Chen, Jade Anderson, Maddie Sheng, and Emma Cavanagh. Attendees had the chance to win some of the prizes pictured below.
We also wanted to recognize the writers who have contributed to HC Babson while we’ve been in need of content, so we gave them little gift bags to express our appreciation. Julia Farhart, Melanie Fann, Caroline Winicki, Alana Sivo, Julia Lawlor, and Rebecca Jiang. You are all amazing, HC Babson loves you.
We were absolutely blown away by the turnout and by how supportive everyone was. The support means the world to us, so a huge thank you to everyone who came out and made our launch event a success! *hugs*
